Between the craziness of work, my husband going back to school and Jacob’s marching band schedule, we had a few moments to sit down together as a family last night. We have a dinner time tradition of going around the table and everyone tells what’s the best thing that happened today.
I said mine was running a work related errand, which meant spending about 45 minutes in the car. The weather was glorious yesterday and I was alone.
It was pure bliss having some time all to myself. But the best part was getting to listen to music without interruption. I chose Ginny Owens, “Get In, I’m Driving”.
I love this CD.
Ginny Owens has a wonderful, jazzy, pure voice that I love to listen to. I didn’t find a single track that was “cookie cutter” music. Her voice comes through the song so beautifully.
“Get In, I’m Driving” has a cool vibe that you can’t help but groove along to.
“Rain” is a beautiful, reflective piece.
“The Song” is my favorite. This one makes me wish I could sing.
I tried to describe this CD to Rick and expressed my concern about not being able to do it justice in a review. I said, “It’s really the perfect thing to listen to in the car on the way home from work. I was able to leave the day behind and switch gears to my family.”
Rick said, “There’s your review.”
So there you go.
Propeller Marketing is graciously allowing me to give away a copy of Ginny’s CD so here’s what I want you to do:
